Jesus - - a sign from Heaven..

Signs. They’re everywhere - for sale signs, stop signs, speed limit signs, billboards, marquees, even signs of the times. We’re so used to following signs that somehow the Church has developed a road-map mentality that extends to God. Many Christians want a sign before they do what the Holy Spirit tells them to do. “Lord, you want me to witness to that person? Well…sure…but first, show me a sign.”

The Uniqueness of Jesus

Throughout history, religious leaders preached a familiar message. It went something like this: If you're good, really good all the time, then just maybe you'll be good enough to get into heaven. Of course, no one really knew where the cut-off point was. Is 50% goodness good enough? That seems a little too low ... until, that is, we examine our own lives. If we're honest with ourselves, many days 50% might be stretching it. Sometimes people concluded that they were just a little better than their wicked neighbor, and that was probably “good enough”.
